Located in the beautiful West Highlands of Scotland, Alt-an Lodge Bed and Breakfast boasts a stunning location on the shores of Loch Linnhe, Fort William, and is located just a short drive from Glen Nevis and the foot of Britain’s highest mountain - Ben Nevis.
This Visit Scotland approved 3 star bedandbreakfast is located in a rural setting, yet only a 15 minute walk along the loch side to Fort William town centre. The town has a variety of shops, pubs and restaurants making Alt-an Lodge an ideal base for your visit to the Highlands of Scotland.
Our bedandbreakfast offers you comfortable, modern, high quality, bedroom and bathroom facilities, with the dining room and remainder of the house furnished in a more traditional environment, with various antiques. Some guest bedrooms have open outlooks and offer superb views over the loch to the mountains of Ardgour. Fort William sailing club, fishing boats and holiday yachts traversing through the Caledonian Canal, provide much activity on the loch.
Porpoises, seals and sea otters are regularly viewed from the bedrooms overlooking the loch.
